Better late than never: Chinese man compensated for gold that was confiscated two decades ago

A top court in Southern China has ordered the state to pay 2.45 million yuan (HK$2.27 million) in compensation to a man whose nearly 10kg in gold bars were confiscated more than 20 years ago, The Beijing News reports.
