‘Leave now and then tell EU how Brexit will work!’ MEP urges UK to stop 'begging' Brussels

Gerard Batten, who is the Brexit spokesman for Ukip, derided British officials for their “obedience” to Brussels during the ongoing Brexit talks.

The latest round of Brexit talks ended this week with Michel Barnier, the EU’s chief Brexit negotiator, attacking the lack of “decisive progress” so far.

The fractious negotiations have hit a stumbling block over settling the controversial divorce bill. 

Speaking to RT, Mr Batten said the British people were “fed up” with the British Government bending to the will of the EU, before offering a radical solution to deadlock.
