Ahmed Hassan, the 18-year old assailant behind the bombing of the London Tube last week, reportedly purchased some of the items to make his home-made bomb from Amazon.com.
The bomb he used – which did not fully detonate – was filled with shrapnel, screws, knives, and other potentially deadly materials including chemicals. While there were no casualties from the bombing, 30 people were injured.
