Rural health workers may soon give homoeopathy medicine


Health workers will shortly give homoeopathic medicines to patients in farming areas of Rajasthan if a offer formed on a commander programme is approved.

The commander programme was conducted in Jhunjhunu district by prior gourmet Pradeep Kumar Borar in Feb and Mar 2017. Health workers were lerned on homoeopathic medicines from Nov 2016 to Jan 2017.


In March, health workers treated around 10,000 patients pang from fever, cough, cold, physique pain and worm infections; 7500 of them were cured. The series of outpatient departments of homoeopathic doctors also increased.


“A cabinet has been constituted to brand medicines that can be dispensed by ANMs as per law.
