With so many superhero shows on the way, it’s tough to keep track of them all, The one we know the least about is the upcoming live-action Titans show, which is slowly picking up steam as its heroes are cast. Now, the lead has been cast: The Boy Wonder, Robin, will be played by Brenton Thwaites, most recently seen in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
If you’ve been watching Cartoon Network at all in the last 10 years or so, you know who the Titans are. Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy made up the original roster of that show’s team. Both Raven and Starfire have already been cast for the upcoming series.
“Dick Grayson is one of the most important and iconic heroes in the DC universe, and it wasn’t easy to find him but we have,” said DC Comics president Geoff Johns in a statement. “Brenton has the emotional depth, heart, danger and physical presence of Batman’s former protege and the Titans’ future leader. We’re extremely lucky he’s chosen to bring his talents to this project and this character.”
This ain’t a CW show
